Greetings
from Woodland Park, Colorado.
Music is my passion. It drives me forward. It has brought me
fantastic experiences such as
playing electrified violin, barefoot, on stage with circus
performers on jumping stilts. I've played for poets, dancers, yoga
classes, magicians, and was on stage for a performance of A
Christmas Carol, providing live music for Fezziwig's party and Tiny
Tim's funeral.
I've played in bands that
featured the music of the Middle East, the United Kingdom (Celtic
and English Country), Mexico (Mariachi), and Eastern Europe (Gypsy).
Teaching is fun. In my classes, we get the most out of every
minute, isolating rhythms, listening for pitch, developing bow
skills, learning to read the language of music, and trying out
different musical styles. Join me for private or group lessons
in playing the violin or viola!
I teach in Colorado Springs at the
Academy of Music and Dance
on Garden of the Gods Road and in Woodland Park at my own studio.
