2007-2009     Turning by Threes

We will entrance you with English Country Dances from the time of Jane Austen.  We provide dance music for the Little London Assembly Ball each quarter. We have also performed for the Luncheon of the National MS Society in Colorado.

2005-2006      Masopust Polka Band

This band plays Polkas, Waltzes, and Schottisches two Saturdays a month at the Yukon Czech Hall in Oklahoma. Come on out for smiles and dancing on the beautiful wood dance floor in a building that is a piece of history! This band has been around for over 100 years and is featured in the Oklahoma Historical Museum.

2004     Oliva
This ensemble performed a fusion of Sephardic, Gypsy, Klezmer, and even American Jazz standards.  On June 20, 2004, member Ariel Lazurus was in Gibraltar performing his grandfather's Ladino specialties with an accompanying orchestra. Congratulations Ariel!

Audiences show great and appreciation for Mexican culture during performances

2002     Nur
Attending the Arabic music summer workshop at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts was exciting. Especially studying with world renown Arabic violinist, Simone Shaheen. Back in Oklahoma, Nur consisted of oud, qanun, violin, and  percussion.

2001     Paprika!

This duo  performed Gypsy standards at local venues, including the botanical center's Crystal Bridge in downtown OKC.

1999-2004     Strolling Gypsy Violinist

Busking at Medieval and Renaissance Fairs can be fun - when the weather is good!  I've performed in Oklahoma and Iowa, and State Street in Madison, Wisconsin. For these events, I dress as a 'Gypsy' and stroll, occasionally joining forces with bellydancing/drumming groups, and the ensembles Queen's Gambit (I am featured on their CD: Opening Move) and Song of Sophia.
